What General Pest Control Covers
Last updated: October 2026
General Pest Control covers the pest concerns, treatment areas, and methods listed in your estimate or service agreement. Depending on that written scope, work may include inspection, targeted treatment, and practical recommendations for reducing pest access or food sources. Specialty work, structural repairs, wildlife removal, and treatment for pests not named in the agreement are not included unless we approve them separately in writing.
SouthDakota Pest Solutions follows pesticide product labels as required by the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Regulated products must carry an EPA registration number, and commercial applicators must hold applicable South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources licensing.
We provide chemical label and safety data sheet information as required by OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard. Where respirators are required, OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard applies.
Pesticide waste is handled under applicable hazardous-waste rules, including RCRA where relevant. We also follow applicable requirements of the South Dakota Department of Health and, for regulated transportation, the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Setting, Changing, or Canceling an Appointment
Appointments are arranged with you by phone, email, or another agreed method. We will confirm the planned date or arrival window and any access steps needed for the work. Please make sure an adult can provide access where required and tell us about relevant conditions, such as pets, sensitive areas, or recent changes in pest activity.
Contact us as soon as possible to cancel or request a different time. Any cancellation notice period or fee will be stated in your written estimate or service agreement; if none is stated, contact us promptly so we can discuss options.
If no one can provide access, or the site is not ready for the agreed work, we may need to reschedule. We will explain any added work or changed scope before proceeding.
You may approve or decline that work; approval must be documented before we perform it. Schedule changes depend on availability, and a requested change does not alter other written terms unless we confirm that change.
Estimates, Approved Work, and Payment
We provide an estimate based on the information available about the property, pest concern, and requested work. The estimate or service agreement identifies the planned services and charges; it is not approval for work outside that written scope.
If inspection reveals a different condition or additional work may be useful, we will explain the proposed change and its cost before proceeding. You can approve or decline the added work.
Payment timing and accepted payment methods will be stated in your estimate, invoice, or service agreement. Please pay by the stated due date.
If no due date is listed, contact us to confirm payment arrangements before service. You are responsible for charges for work you approved, including any separately agreed additional services.
Questions about an invoice should be raised promptly so we can review the service record and clarify the charge. No price, financing plan, or recurring service commitment applies unless it is provided in writing and accepted by you.
What to Expect About Service Coverage
SouthDakota Pest Solutions will perform approved work with reasonable care and follow applicable pesticide labels and licensing requirements. A treatment is not a promise that pests will never return: results can depend on pest pressure, building conditions, sanitation, weather, and changes after service. These terms do not create a general workmanship warranty or set a standard coverage period.
Any retreatment, follow-up visit, or other warranty coverage applies only if it is described in your written estimate or service agreement. That document should identify what pests and areas are covered, how long coverage lasts, and any steps you need to take.
Coverage may not apply to pests, locations, or conditions outside the written scope, or where required preparation or access was not provided. Contact us if the agreed service does not appear to address the stated concern.
We will review the written terms and service details with you; any remedy or additional visit will be limited to what those terms provide or what we separately agree to in writing.

Responsibility and Limits on Claims
To the extent allowed by law, SouthDakota Pest Solutions’ responsibility for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service at issue. This limit does not apply where the law does not permit it, including liability that cannot legally be waived.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed conditions, or pest activity caused or worsened by factors outside the agreed work, where applicable law allows that limitation. Nothing here excuses us from performing approved work with reasonable care.
We apply pesticides according to product labeling as required by FIFRA, and regulated products must bear an EPA registration number. Applicable South Dakota commercial applicator licensing is administered through the South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Chemical labels and safety data sheets are addressed under OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard; required respirator programs are governed by OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard. Pesticide waste is managed under applicable rules, including RCRA hazardous-waste requirements when they apply.
These safety duties do not expand the written service scope or waive rights that cannot be limited by law.
Questions About These Service Terms
For questions about these terms, an estimate, or scheduled work, contact SouthDakota Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@southdakotapestsolutions.top. Mail may be sent to 101 S Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD.
If you have a question about a particular service, include the service date and address so we can locate the relevant agreement or invoice. Written messages help keep a clear record of requests and responses.
We may update these terms from time to time. For work already approved, the terms provided with that estimate or service agreement apply unless you and we agree in writing to a change.
For future services, updated terms may be provided with a new estimate, agreement, or other written notice. We will identify material changes in the notice or document accompanying the revised terms.
If you do not agree with updated terms, raise that concern before approving or scheduling new work. Any change to an existing agreement requires confirmation by both sides.
